Terms of Service

The deal

• Forkd helps groups and individuals decide what to eat. It's provided as-is, free of charge, while in early access.
• You must be 13 or older to use Forkd.
• Don't abuse the service: no scraping, spamming session links, impersonating others, automated bulk usage, or attempts to access other groups' data.
• We may suspend or block access that violates these terms or degrades the service for others.

What you submit

• You're responsible for what you type (your display name, neighborhood, and answers). Don't submit anything unlawful or abusive, and don't enter another person's personal information.
• You give us permission to process what you submit for one purpose: operating Forkd, computing your group's decision and showing it to your session. See the Privacy Policy for exactly how data is handled.

Food decisions are yours

• Forkd's suggestions are informational. You are responsible for confirming that any food you eat is safe for you, especially regarding allergens, with the restaurant or cook. Forkd cannot guarantee any prepared food is allergen-free.
• Restaurant details (names, ratings, prices, open hours) come from third parties like Google and can be outdated or wrong. Confirm before you travel or order.
• Forkd links out to third-party services (maps, delivery apps, recipes). Their content, availability, and policies are theirs, not ours.
• Forkd does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

No warranty

Forkd is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Early access means things will occasionally break.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forkd and its operator are not liable for damages arising from use of the service, including outcomes of meals, venues, deliveries, or third-party services. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
